DATES
We depart from London Heathrow on 26th August arriving in Cape Town that evening. Anyone traveling from other places in Europe or North America would fly direct to Amsterdam and meet the group there. We depart Cape Town late on the 9th September, arriving at our destination the following day.
INSURANCE
Many of you will have travel insurance already. However, to work at Kirstenbosch and on their outreach projects we need special insurance to cover us for the use of non-mechanical garden tools. The insurance, underwritten by AXA, is a comprehensive one which, reflecting the uncertain times we are in, also reimburses you in the event of redundancy, and covers you in the unlikely event that any service provider - airline or hotel - declares bankruptcy. Reading the small print of the insurance policy though is recommended because (as they say) terms and conditions apply.
